Jiangxi Province's Rural Power Network Upgrade and Upgrade Plan for 2010-2015 Announced

Recently, the "Jiangxi Rural Power Grid Transformation and Upgrading Planning (draft)" compiled by the Jiangxi Provincial Electric Power Company complies with the relevant national standards and requirements. It has successfully passed the evaluation of the Jiangxi Provincial Energy Bureau's expert group, planning for the period 2010-2015, Jiangxi Provincial Rural Network. The total investment in transformation and upgrade planning is about 26.6 billion yuan.

With the sustained and rapid development of Jiangxi's economy and modern agriculture, household appliances have entered the countryside in an all-round way, and rural electricity consumption has grown rapidly. In order to adapt to the rapid growth of electricity consumption in rural areas and build a new rural power supply system that is economical, high-quality, and safe, the total investment for the renovation and upgrading of rural power grids in Jiangxi Province from 2010 to 2015 is about 26.6 billion yuan. Among them, during the three years from 2010 to 2012, Jiangxi Province's administrative counties and sub-county power grids will newly build (expand) 108 108-kilovolt transformer substations, newly (expand) build 352-kilovolt transformer substations, and newly construct and transform 10 kilovolts distribution transformers to 32,106 sets. The total investment is 14.73 billion yuan.

According to Jiangxi Provincial Rural Power Grid Transformation and Upgrading Planning (Preliminary Draft), Jiangxi Province will focus on the upgrading and upgrading of rural power grids of 110 kV and below in 96 counties (districts) of the province from 2010 to 2012. Rural low-voltage, aging equipment, overload, power supply, "knock neck" and other issues, to further improve the province's rural power grid power supply capacity and reliability, so as to meet a series of load growth needs of rural economic development.

At the same time, Jiangxi Province will continue to optimize the rural 110kV and 35kV grid structure according to the plan, solve the problem of weak single-line, single-variable and weak linkages with the main grid, and urgent need of farmland irrigation facilities in the main grain-producing areas and strong driving force. Issues such as the use of electricity in agricultural production facilities, and further improve the province's rural power management system, truly achieve the same price of electricity in the province's urban and rural areas, promote the integration of urban and rural development in Jiangxi Province, and accelerate the formation of a new pattern of urban and rural economic and social integration.
