HA1392 audio power amplifier circuit

HA1392 is a power amplifier integrated circuit produced by Hitachi, Japan. It has two sets of power amplifier circuits on a silicon chip with high output power. The lead single-in-line plastic packaging structure, the shape is shown in Figure 1.
Circuit characteristics:

[1]. The quiescent current is small, with a typical value of 36mA, which is suitable for battery-powered complete machines.

[2]. Crossover distortion is small under low current.

[3]. There is an audio squelch circuit inside, which can obtain a squelch suppression ratio of 60dB (typical value) under 5mA squelch control current.

[4]. It can be directly installed on the bottom case of the whole machine without adding electrical insulation.

[5]. The output power is large. When the load is 4Ω, the 12V power supply can output 4.3W power per channel, and the 15V power supply can output 6.8W power (THD = 10%).

[6]. There is a thermal protection circuit inside.

HA1392 is composed of two independent power amplifiers and noise suppression circuits. Its typical application circuit is shown in Figure 2.

Instructions for use:

(1). Audio squelch circuit: When the recording uses the built-in microphone, prevent feedback feedback.

(2). Control the output signal when the recording fast forwards and rewinds.

(3). Prevent vibration noise caused by function switch.

(4). When turning on the power, absorb the vibration noise generated by the pre-amplifier or line amplifier.

(5). Suppression noise in the case of frequency modulation or amplitude modulation detuning.

Under the smaller control current, there is a larger suppression ratio. Under the control current of 5mA and the internal resistance of the signal source of 600Ω, the typical squelch suppression ratio (ATT) is 60dB.

The vibration noise is extremely low when the squelch switch operates, and the squelch control ratio can be adjusted by changing the squelch control current.
