LED digital signage manufacturer Daktronics announced that it will provide a full-color LED indoor display for Beijing South Railway Station to display information such as train times and to broadcast commercials. The largest single screen area is 120 square meters, which is currently the largest indoor screen area in China.

The screen consists of 11 blocks, consisting of 4 10mm-pitch LED screens and 7 6mm-pitch LED screens, located in the station hall, underground exit hall and two escalators in the north and south. Daktronics' Venus7000 control system will be used to control and monitor each display. This set of screens will be another masterpiece of Dako in the Beijing market following the funnel screen of the Beijing Wukesong Basketball Hall, the LED screen of the Forbidden City Taihe Hall and the LED screen of the CCTV new building.
It is reported that Daxie Fangyuan International Film and Television Culture Media, Beijing Railway Bureau Beijing Station, Daktronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. jointly signed a tripartite agreement in Beijing, and Daxie purchased a total of 654 square meters of LED digital display screen from Dako. It is installed at the Beijing South Railway Station under construction and reconstruction, for the advertising operation of the high-speed rail advertising company it formed, and the release of public information such as the train time of Beijing South Railway Station.
