1. Reinforcement of the cabinet is an effective method to reinforce the cabinet and add sound-absorbing cotton.
The material of the wooden speaker box is generally medium-density fiberboard, which can be reinforced with the same material. The reinforcement is divided into reinforced beams and reinforced corners. Speakers with less serious resonance can be placed inside the side of the mid-bass speaker, that is, on the left and right sides of the speaker looking at the front of the speaker, and paste 12cm2 to 20cm2 fiberboard Reinforcement block. If the resonance is serious, it is necessary to stick fiber board reinforcement blocks (strips) to the four corners of the box and the inner face of the upper and lower parts. After the above transformation, the cabinet should be able to significantly reduce the resonance phenomenon.
At the same time, the back of the speaker in the box can be lined with sound-absorbing cotton of appropriate thickness, which is covered by the inner side panel and the back panel of the box. The purpose of the sticky sound-absorbing cotton is to eliminate the dull phenomenon of the bass, which can enhance the dynamic response of the woofer.
2. When the sealed loudspeaker vibrates, the phases of the front and rear sound waves are reversed. In order to avoid the interference and cancellation of the sound waves generated by the front and rear sides of the speaker, the energy generated by the rear side of the speaker needs to be sealed in the cabinet when the speaker is designed.
The problem of sealing is more prominent in the subwoofer. The interior of the subwoofer is a two-chamber design, separated by a partition, and the woofer is installed on the partition. If the gap around the baffle is too obvious, it will affect the seal between the two chambers, resulting in turbid bass performance. The solution is to plug the gap as a simple principle. Plugging the gap with easy-to-use materials such as soft paper towels and cotton can bring obvious improvements. Using a hot glue gun to block the gap is obviously a very thorough method.
3. Shielded speakers Because the multimedia speakers are closer to the display, the magnets on the speakers can easily cause the display to become magnetized. It is necessary to shield the speakers to reduce the magnetic leakage and reduce the interference to the display.
Fourth, install the frequency divider Most multimedia speakers do not install a frequency divider, only a capacitor is connected in series with the tweeter. The improvement method is to add a suitable frequency divider. Generally, the capacitor connected in series between the high and low frequency units can be removed, and an independent frequency divider can be added. The frequency divider can choose the blue whale series, the price is about tens of yuan.
Fifth, replace the audio cable. The audio cable provided by the manufacturer is just an ordinary wire. The wire diameter is small, the line loss is large, and it is easy to cause clutter interference. It is best to replace it with a special copper wire with high copper content.
