Liu Yaoping said that the current power-off technology is mainly limited to small power supplies, mainly used for indoor LED power supply within 60W, including indoor and commercial lighting and home lighting. In the high-power outdoor road lighting power supply, There is basically no impact. The traditional drive power source occupies a commanding height in the middle and high-end market due to its good voltage adaptability, lightning resistance, withstand voltage, no stroboscopic, and intelligent control characteristics, especially in the field of outdoor road lighting.

Based on this, Liu Yaoping believes that the future drive power technology will form a situation where the de-energized drive and the traditional drive coexist, which is determined by the technology and market positioning.

In addition, in the LED drive power market, there are also a series of problems such as “how to improve cost performance”, “how to improve efficiency”, and “how to improve life, reliability, and realization of intelligence”.

Liu Yaoping concluded that to solve the above problems, LED drive power companies must develop in the direction of “standardization”, “modularization” and “intelligence” in the future.
