According to the Xiamen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the first export quality light source and lighting quality demonstration zone in Fujian Province was officially launched in Huli District, Xiamen City.
The output value and export value of electric light source and lamps in Huli District accounted for 47.1% and 46.7% of the total exports of similar products in Xiamen, respectively. It has the characteristics of high regional concentration, complete industrial cooperation and diverse product varieties. In 2012, Huli District exported a total of 407 million US dollars of electric light source and lighting products, and achieved positive export growth for 10 consecutive years. Among them, compact energy-saving lamps accounted for 11.3% of total domestic exports, accounting for about 10% of global exports. The products are exported to Europe, America, Southeast Asia and other countries and regions, with stable quality and strong overall competitiveness. The first batch of enterprises entering the zone in the demonstration area reached 55.
Dongdu Inspection and Quarantine Bureau promoted the rapid development of the demonstration area from the aspects of quality management and customs clearance. For the demonstration enterprises in the region, the bureau will give priority to green channels, paperless inspection and online approval, continuously reduce the cost of enterprises, improve the speed of customs clearance, and make full use of the encouragement policies of the AQSIQ and Xiamen Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. Strive to make breakthroughs in key areas and key links, promote quality improvement and serve local economic development.
