Turkey is the most dangerous country on the Internet

Internet security firm AVG recently released a report listing the safest and most dangerous countries and regions on the Internet. According to this report, the most dangerous country for netizens is Turkey, and the safest place is Sierra Leone in Africa.

AVG collected data from 144 countries and regions around the world, involving 10,000 computers. According to statistical reports, in Turkey, one out of every ten users is attacked on the Internet, followed by Russia with an attack rate of 1/15.

China ranked 79th, attacked by 1/135. The United States ranked 9th and one in 48 users was attacked.

Sierra Leone is listed as the safest country on the Internet, followed by Niger and Japan. Attack rates in these three countries were 1/696, 1/342, and 1/403, respectively.
