In the previous months, consumers had to wait 7 days to 10 days after ordering to ship. Only in recent weeks, Apple has reduced delivery time to 3 days to 5 days.

In the three months after its listing, iPad sales reached 3.27 million. Apple also had to admit that due to higher-than-expected iPad demand, there has been a shortage of supply. Due to the immense demand for the iPad in the U.S. market, Apple was forced to postpone the launch date of the iPad in the international market by one month.
