Eximchain is a blockchain startup focused on supply chain in 2015 and has raised $20 million from a group of investors.
The startup was founded at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab to raise funds to continue developing its own blockchain, supported by private smart contracts, providing supply chain stakeholders with different solutions for recording, trading and distributing data. .
The funds are led by FBG Capital, China's leading cryptocurrency hedge fund. Other participants include blockchain capital companies established by INBlockchain and Hong Kong investment company KineTIc Capital.
Eximchain said it is now moving toward its token airdrops, which will see approximately 1.5 million ERC20-based EXC tokens distributed to ID-certified participants. According to the company, EXC can be further converted to local tokens on Eximchain's own blockchain after its main network is launched.
