This marks the third country that has mastered the technology of near-space solar drones after becoming the United States and Britain, and is another classic made in China.
This is also the first time that China has successfully developed a large-scale long-season approaching space solar unmanned aerial vehicle. Its scale and weight are second only to the United States, and all key core technologies and equipment have been domestically produced.
According to reports, the new Rainbow Solar UAV uses solar energy as a power source, with the characteristics of ultra-long time, the remaining blank time can be up to several months to several years, and the flying height is high, more than 20,000 meters, the mission area is vast, With "quasi-satellite" features, it is flexible and economical.
The new type of rainbow solar drone can be widely used in military and civilian integration, including major natural disasters early warning, normalized sea area supervision, emergency rescue and disaster relief, anti-terrorist peacekeeping and other public welfare areas as well as remote areas of the Internet wireless access, mobile communications, digital television signal broadcast And other commercial and industrial fields.
