Recently, Taiwanese media reported that mainland LED factories frequently dig Taiwan's engineering talents, resulting in the continued loss of Taiwan's LED talents. According to statistics, taking the mainland Sanan Optoelectronics as an example, Taiwanese engineers and supervisors have more than 100 people. The conditions for excavation are all that Taiwan’s salary is directly converted into RMB, and the salary has soared more than four times.

The Taiwan media believe that the competition in the LED industry across the Taiwan Straits has been in an unfair competition since the beginning. The LED industry is an industry supported by the mainland government's “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”. In addition to the purchase of MOCVD machine subsidies, the mainland government has taken the initiative after the establishment of the company. Giving orders, even with business that is not related to LEDs, makes some companies' financial statements look quite attractive.

Taiwanese companies such as Jingdian and Yuyuan once faced the loss of talents, but all said that the LED epitaxial factory relied on the strength of the team, and like the crystal power at the level of technology will be blocked, so the engineering staff just took away the technology at that time. When the technology continues to evolve, the technical team that the mainland factory has put together can only grab the low-end market in Taiwan. As for the high-end TV and lighting, the chairman of the LED packaging factory that tested the Sanan chip said, "At least The gap with the crystal power is 2 years."
